Inspired by another piece I completed “Intuition” this is centered around thoughts that manifest into hysteria. It starts with “They haven’t hit me up, there must be some issue” or “They treated me this way, their tone was different, they’ve been distant. They must not want to talk to me” “Do they even truly care for me?” “Do they hate me?”. Once the process begins it can be easy to dismiss anyone if we center their actions around our actualization. We believe to make up a significant part in other people's lives not taking into account everything they may be going through. This internal dialogue, while disruptive, can also be changed. By reworking thoughts, and being more compassionate we can relate rather than sabotage our relationships with others. I struggle with this a lot personally, I always wonder to what extent people consider me. I have destroyed bonds over this. The columbine flowers represent the anxiety of this thought process. The ants represent the feeling of these thoughts, if I could give them a feeling: it would be like a colony of ants, diligently and hard-working, both with the power to destroy and also rework my mind. While the eye is held up, it is glossed over to represent that hindsight is lost from this: because you're not intuitive for believing the capability of deceit in others, you're self-fulfilling a prophecy. It is possible to change.
