16in x 20in, Acrylic on Canvas

In terms of intricacy, this piece reflects how a collective of small instances wasted away my identity. In Colorado, I found wild Columbine growing; the unnaturally red wildflowers reflect on intense anxiety. So much so it is like I allowed this emotion to conceal my conscience. Chamomile, while frail and white, symbolizes strength in adversity.
The three Swallowtails are representative of the cycle of Youth, Maiden, and Crone. A dragon fly, both lustful and predatory, is the only creature along with the skull to exist in both planes where grace meets anger. Where cruelty and patience coexist while I wonder: if I have become this Ill intended thing. Consumed by my emotions and ultimately enraged and hurt by the details of my life up until now. Am I a product of this scorn?
