The rose hair Tarantula is one of the more common for pets, known for its docile nature. I had the joy of owning one as a pet. I wanted to paint this rose hair with blue hortensia to symbolize the cold heart of how humans perceive the tarantula. The rose hair raises its legs in defense as the flowers spill from its cavity as if in mourning. I believe tarantulas to be as beautiful if not more than flowers.
