Silence

$100.00

“Silence” By Clada. Available. $100 USD. 11in x 14in. Window 5in x 7in. Acrylic on wood.
I refurbished this picture frame from a thrift store. I had been painting sketching atropa belladonna for weeks: particularly drawn to its meaning. “Silence” perhaps in a literal terms referring to its toxicity as a way to dispatch someone. As of recent events for me: it refers to a quiet suffering. I feel poised by what has been done to me: betrayal, loosing my home, loosing my possessions all to the trials of life. It’s not much worth mourning: it’s unfortunately what happens. While I become a stranger living on the street with no one.
While I loose. I am screaming inside. Dying from the effects. Yet I don’t ask for pit. I iust hold it all in. But as the belladonna can grown in any condition: making this reminds me I can still create good. I am comforted that the cruelty I have met has never changed my inner self.
That: is something I will never be silent about.
