Water Moccasins are basking along the edge of a river: a stark contrast of ease and high anxiety. The cumbersome American vipers are much more docile than led on. Their pure white mouths attest to their purity, muddied by superstition. The chamomile grows alongside to accompany the cold-blooded animals. Three of them are almost holy.
I want to thank my Abuelita for insisting on this piece as well. I think I will play off this idea again soon.
